Stereolab - The Underground Is Coming

DOWNLOAD IT!

This is the expanded deluxe version of the Stereolab introductory mix that I have posted here before. The first disc is the same, and covers their most popular singles and album tracks. It’s the best place to start. The second disc is a step further into the catalog, covering some of the stuff that was cut for space the first time around along with the noisiest and most mannered extremes of their sound. This is for people who’ve never heard their distinct brand of groovy intellectual semi-Francophone pop music before, but also for everyone who maybe sorta liked a Stereolab song or two but were maybe scared off by the enormous size of their discography and didn’t bother investigating further. Enjoy!

Disc one:

Brakhage / Three Women / Metronomic Underground / The Free Design / Lo Boob Oscillator / Captain Easychord / The Noise of Carpet / Crest / Wow and Flutter / Ping Pong / French Disko / One Small Step / Emperor Tomato Ketchup / Miss Modular / Cybele’s Reverie / Jenny Ondioline (single version) / Come and Play in the Milky Night

Disc two:

Super-Electric / Our Trinitone Blast / International Colouring Contest / John Cage Bubblegum / Stomach Worm / Analogue Rock / Barock-Plastik / Percolator / Interlock / Margerine Rock / Parsec / Des Etoiles Electroniques / People Do It All the Time / Double Rocker / Blue Milk / We’re Not Adult Orientated
