“Youth Without Youth”
Live at WFUV 2012

I wrote about Metric’s new album Synthetica for Pitchfork. I am pretty happy with how this one turned out. Before I wrote it, I checked around for reviews of their previous records and was kinda disappointed by the majority of them — for whatever reason, this is a smart band that ends up with a lot of uninspired criticism. I tried my best to be thoughtful and engaged.
