Beck, Fiona Apple Deliver Old Hits at Governor's Ball

I wrote about this festival for Rolling Stone. I was beyond thrilled to see Beck, but once again, almost nothing compares to Fiona Apple. It’s very hard for me to imagine that there’s another living singer on her level right now. You really kinda need to see her live to really get just how brilliant she is; it’s in noticing the nuances of her phrasing.
