Stereolab
“Three Women”

Stereolab lost some spark and tension in the later phases of their long career, particularly following the death of Mary Hansen, but they could create truly sublime music up until the very end. This song, from their last proper album, ranks among the group’s all-time best compositions, and is definitely the best use of horns in a Stereolab arrangement.
