“What’s A Girl to Do?”
Another variation on the “messed-up rich girl” theme. This was released in 1984, but its style and lyrical tone was very far ahead of its time - you can easily fool people into believing this came out any time in the past decade. I love how she sounds totally delighted by her own nihilism - just listen to the way she spits out the line “my friends decay around me and I view them with distaste.”
