Like a post-millennial Steely Dan or the musical equivalent of Paul Verhoeven’s Starship Troopers, Electric Six are lacerating satirists of a woo-hoo-fun culture using the artistic vocabulary of that culture, and are thus doomed to be misunderstood basically forever.
